Marianne wanted white, straight healthy teeth that would last a long time. She really disliked the colour of her teeth. This type of staining is caused from exposure to a broad-spectrum antibiotic Tetracycline during dental development. She was also worried about the protruding front teeth and sensitivity. To totally block out the discoloured teeth and straighten her teeth Marianne decided to have all her upper teeth covered with porcelain veneers and crowns. This lovely lady came in sad that her smile had gone, that her teeth were all sensitive, and that she couldn’t eat well anymore. Gum disease and years of patchwork dentistry had taken their toll. The front teeth were wobbly so much so that she couldn’t bite hard foods anymore. Right after we extracted all the teeth, we put in five implants and attached some temporary teeth, so she could walk out the door with new teeth. A few months later we attached the new teeth to the implants. We were so happy we could help her smile again!
